50% Couple Lying About the salary, how about you?
Honesty is the key to a relationship. But if you talk about the matter, half of us would choose to lie.
Results of a survey by financial consulting firm Money advide Service, UK found, 45 percent of couples in the State Elizabeth lying about income, expenses, bills, credit cards or from their partner.
While 41 percent of people admitted did not know their partner's financial condition.
About one fifth of spouses admitted to lying about income earned. While 10 percent chose to report lower than actual income.
And 4 percent chose to do both of these lies.
People who lie with lowering the income statement admitted taking this way to share feelings with a spouse who earns less.
However, the majority reasoned want to make sure if the spouse remains faithful for the right reasons. Not because of savings in the bank.
Money Advice Service also found 24 percent of couples lie about their spending. For women, lying about the clothes are bought into a habit that is often done. While men admitted lying when buying electronic goods.
"For some couples, honesty so key relationships. However, our research shows many people hide the truth to his partner," said Nick Hill from the Money Advice Service as quoted Dailymail, Thursday, April 23, 2015.
Recognized Hill is indeed a lot of people are quite comfortable forthright with its financial condition. Some chose to lie to avoid the thorny debate.
"This study wants to show that money does not necessarily become a taboo subject in talks with a partner," said Hill. (Ism)
