Over 8 Hours Sleep Turns Deadly


Many are worried about not being able to get enough sleep. However, according to researchers at the University of Warwick, recently, sleeping too much it becomes more dangerous.

The researchers analyzed 16 studies, including data sleeping more than one million people.


One of the researchers, Professor Franco Cappuccio found that people who sleep more than eight hours at risk of dying sooner than those who slept for six to eight hours.


Professor Cappuccio examined the long-term study on the death of people according to how much they sleep.


After ten years of analyzing, Professor Cappuccio find 12% of those who sleep less than six hours have passed. But 30% of those who sleep more than eight hours also died.


One study that examined Professor Cappuccio also showed an increased risk of death is equivalent to how many cups of coffee drunk person per day.


But Professor Cappuccio correcting the data to take into account people who are depressed or use sleeping pills.


He also believes that people who sleep more than eight hours per night may have a serious congenital disease that causes them to sleep longer.(Source: Metrok.co.uk)
